Nisha Inthiraratnam, Special Education

Nisha is currently working as a lead teacher and interventionist in Brooklyn, New York. Throughout the 8 years that she has been in the field of special education, she has worked as therapist, instructor of program and teacher and have had the opportunity to use different modalities. She hopes to continue to push the field of education to ensure students with specific needs are able to access education and given an opportunity to engage with academic materials. She believes her goals can be achieved with collaboration with people of other specialties that can be found in URLEND. In her free time, she enjoys hiking with her pup or trying out new recipes.
