Savanna Parady, School Psychology

Faculty: Terisa Gabrielsen

Savanna Parady is a graduate student at Brigham Young University studying school psychology. She loves being in schools, working with children, and helping with research. She has loved her experiences through her graduate program, particularly mentoring neurodiverse students on campus to help them succeed at their goals. When she graduates, Savanna is hoping to work in an elementary school, but she is open to working her way up to middle or high school. She is interested in URLEND because she believes wholeheartedly in the strength of the community and its resources. She is eager to learn more and make lifelong connections.

Savanna grew up in sunny Wilmington, North Carolina before moving to Utah for her undergraduate degree. After getting married, she and her husband (also a university student) relocated to Payson, Utah just a few miles south. In her limited free time, she enjoys cooking, hiking, running, and traveling. Savanna loves to be outdoors when it is warm, and indoors when it is cold. Recently, she and her husband adopted a bernedoodle puppy who has taken over her heart. She loves animals and hopes to own enough land one day to collect a few more.
