Amy Rieser, Public Health

Amy M. Rieser, MPA, works on Community Education and Training programming at the University of Wyoming - Wyoming Institute for Disabilities (WIND). Within her work, she focuses on developing engaging and accessible community training opportunities utilizing best practices in Universal Design for Learning. She serves as a member of WIND’s Accessibility Committee and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. She is also Wyoming's Data Ambassador for the State of the States on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
Amy is a certified 200-hour yoga instructor with additional training in mindfulness, trauma-informed yoga for youth, and play-based yoga. She is an Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES) Master Trainer and a volunteer coach for Special Olympics Winter snowshoeing. In her free time, she loves to adventure through reading books, attending ballets and Broadway musicals, going for hikes, paddleboarding, or traveling by plane, train, or automobile.
