Dakin Stovall, Parent / Advocate
Faculty: Terisa Gabrielsen
Dakin Stovall is a recent developmental psychology PhD graduate from Brigham Young University (April 2024). She is an autism advocate and the mother of five children (ages 9-20), the youngest of whom is autistic. Dakin is committed to supporting families, like her own, with developmental differences by contributing to evidence-based skills and learning in her research.
Dakin treasures being a mom and loves to build relationships and connect with others. In her quiet moments, you will find her reading aloud to her children. She recently completed reading the Harry Potter books aloud (this took several years)!
She is excited to participate for a second year in URLEND as part of Autism Enhanced so that she can use her experiences to further bless the lives of those within her reach.
