Anna Kiffmeyer, Physical Therapy

Faculty: Kirsten Aalberg

Anna Kiffmeyer grew up in Rogers, Minnesota and recently earned a doctorate of physical therapy from the University of North Dakota. She is currently the pediatric physical therapy resident at the University of Utah and is working toward becoming a board-certified pediatric specialist. Anna has experience working in various pediatric settings both within and outside the field of physical therapy. During graduate school, Anna worked as a childcare provider for children with life-long disabilities at an inclusive day care in North Dakota. Her work experience highlighted the importance of empathetic and collaborative care.

She is hoping participation in URLEND will provide her with the skills needed to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team to optimize healthcare outcomes for children with disabilities. In Anna’s free time she enjoys cooking, running, downhill skiing, and spending time in northern Minnesota at her family cabin.
