Fabiola Mendez is a licensed master social work clinician currently at Northwest Neurobehavioral Health. Fabiola earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree in May 2020. During her undergraduate internship Fabiola interned at The ARC of Idaho, providing job coaching to adults diagnosed with developmental/intellectual disabilities. Fabiola earned her Master of Social Work degree in May 2021 from Boise State University. Prior to working at NNH, Fabiola worked at the Women’s and Children’s Alliance (WCA) as a client advocate for two years and an additional year providing crisis counseling to both adults and children. Fabiola loved NNH so much she decided to return in 2022. Fabiola specializes in providing individual and play therapy to adults, teens, and children who have experienced domestic violence and/or sexual abuse. Fabiola enjoys working with individuals and their families and helping them through the healing process.
Fabiola grew up in Idaho and is pleased to continue to provide services in the Treasure Valley and providing services to the Latinx community. Fabiola hopes to become a well-rounded clinician to provide services to children who have been affected by developmental, emotional, and behavioral differences, including autism spectrum disorders, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, impulse control disorders, and central nervous system disorders.
Fabiola is born and raised in Idaho. Fabiola enjoys hiking and snow shoeing and spending time with her cat, friends, and family. Fabiola enjoys reading and doing artwork on her spare time.
Fabiola joined URLEND to gain more knowledge and expertise to help provide the best care to her clients with a neurodevelopmental disability. Fabiola would like to have the best training to provide the best care and help families advocate for their rights.
