Laine Nesbitt, School Psychology / School Counselor

Laine Nesbitt is a graduate student at Brigham Young University studying school psychology. Originally from Gilbert, Arizona, she graduated from Arizona State University with her bachelor’s degree in psychology. As a graduate student, Laine has enjoyed doing research and the other experiences that her program has provided. She has loved opportunities to work with diverse populations and children with disabilities. As she looks forward to beginning her career in a few years, she looks forward to performing psychological assessments and helping to create trauma-informed systems. Going into this time with URLEND, Laine is looking forward to the opportunity to work with professionals and students from other disciplines. She is also looking forward to continuing to develop her advocacy skills and understanding how to support those with neurodevelopmental disabilities and their families.
Laine and her husband live in the Salt Lake area. When not buried in textbooks, Laine enjoys reading classic novels. She also enjoys cooking, spending time with her family, and regular walks with her husband.
