Rachael Chesnover, Health Administration
Faculty: Teresa Pavia
For the past 7 years, Rachael Chesnover has worked in pediatric healthcare as a child life specialist. For 5 of those years, she worked at Primary Children's Hospital within Intermountain Health. Her undergraduate degree is from Florida State University and now she is halfway through the MHA program at the University of Utah. She loves living in Salt Lake City, but has also lived in Richmond, VA, Tallahassee, FL, and is originally from Fort Myers, FL. She grew up a beach baby in the warm weather and now fully embraces winter through skiing and snowboarding (with her fiancé Nikhil).
Outside of work and school, she also enjoys camping, hiking, and running. Rachael is so excited for this next chapter with the URLEND program and looks forward to further learning opportunities, especially related to family centered care and value based care. Her overarching goal after graduation is to make a more systemic impact in healthcare for patients and families to have a healthier future.
