Sadie Eggleston, Occupational Therapy

Mercedes (Sadie) Eggleston is currently pursuing her doctorate in Occupational Therapy at the University of Utah. She did her undergraduate degree at BYU where she majored in psychology and minored in sociology.
She’s from Fort Worth, Texas and often misses the warmth during the winter months in Utah.
Sadie has a diverse professional background, having worked extensively with audio-visual technology and developed a passion for technological organization. She also has significant experience working with special needs children, serving as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), Respite Care Manager, and Summer Camp Director.
Passionate about maternal health, Sadie aims to develop a community-based program to support mothers and families. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, reading, painting, playing games, and spending time with her husband and dog. She also particularly enjoys traveling to new places and being around water features.
