Lindsey Hurley is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the State of Montana and works as a Crisis Intervention Specialist at Bozeman Health Hospital in the Emergency Department. Lindsey is from Montana and currently resides in Livingston, Montana. Most of her work experience has been doing mental health counseling in public schools, working with adults who have severe disabling mental illnesses, crisis counseling in an emergency department, and most recently working towards becoming certified in perinatal mental health. She is used to navigating systems to help those in need get the best care.
When Lindsey is not working, she spends her time with her two sons, Christian and Ethan, and her husband Richard. She also is a huge fan of their family dog that is a Golden Doodle, named Rocket. Lindsey became interested in URLEND as her oldest son Christian, who is now 4 years old, sustained a brain injury at birth and was diagnosed with Moderate Hypoxic Ischemic. This opened Lindsey's eyes to the struggles and difficulties living in rural area/state, trying to navigate the best care for her son. Lindsey strives to be the best advocate and voice for her son Christian and her hope is to gain better knowledge and experience by the URLEND program to help implement better practices in the care and systems in Montana for those who are disabled.
