Kara Brown, Psychology

Kara Brown is a PhD student at Washington State University working toward a doctorate in Clinical Psychology. She has been involoved in child assessment and therapy for the past 3 years and plans to continue this into internship as a pediatric psychologist. Following graduation from graduate school, Kara plans to continue in academia as a professor and researcher. This career path was what initially introduced Kara to the URLEND program, and she hopes to gain more experience and knowledge through interdisciplinary work over this upcoming year in URLEND.
Kara grew up in Oklahoma and currently lives in Pullman with her fiancé and two cats. She enjoys hiking and camping as well as road trips.
