Abby Norton is a fourth-year Counseling Psychology doctoral student at Brigham Young University (BYU). Her dissertation focuses on social determinants of health barriers to mental health services for Pacific Islanders. Abby received her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from BYU, with University Honors. She also received her Master’s in Public Health from BYU.
Abby is passionate about addressing structural inequities in healthcare and hopes to pursue a career in research and statistical consulting. She also hopes to work as a psychologist doing therapy and psychological assessment. In her free time, Abby enjoys going to concerts, quilting, and DJing.
