Amy Rieser, MPA, is a Senior Project Coordinator for Community Education and Training at the University of Wyoming - Wyoming Institute for Disabilities (WIND). Within her work, she focuses on developing engaging and accessible community training opportunities that utilize best practices in Universal Design for Learning. She serves as a member of WIND’s Accessibility Committee and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee.

She earned her B.A. in Sociology and Environment and Natural Resources (ENR) and a minor in Statistics from the University of Wyoming in Laramie, WY. She holds a Master of Public Administration from the School of Politics, Public Affairs & International Studies with a graduate certificate in Community and Public Health from the University of Wyoming.

Prior to her work at WIND, Amy performed program evaluations as an Assistant Research Scientist with the Wyoming Survey and Analysis Center (WYSAC), where she worked on substance misuse prevention programs for Wyoming and North Dakota and conducted visitor use survey research for Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. Amy also spent four years as a Behavior Support Paraprofessional working one-on-one with youth exhibiting social and emotional disabilities.

Amy is a certified 200-hour yoga instructor with additional training in mindfulness, trauma-informed yoga for youth, and play-based yoga. She is a volunteer coach for Special Olympics Winter snowshoeing. In her free time, she loves to adventure through reading books, attending ballets and Broadway musicals, going for hikes, paddleboarding, or traveling by plane, train, or automobile.
