Ashley Thiel, Special Education

Ashley Thiel is a dedicated individual, passionate about improving the lives of children with disabilities and their families. Ashley recently graduated with a Master of Science in Education, with a professional development emphasis on autism, transition, and applied behavior analysis at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
Ashley grew up in Central Wisconsin and is an outdoor enthusiast, enjoying hiking, traveling, camping, and spending quality time with family. Ashley is an active volunteer with the American Red Cross and Citizen-Based Monitoring.
Ashley is a current doctoral student at the University of Idaho and is excited to begin her journey in the URLEND program. She hopes to advance her knowledge and leadership skills to one day prepare future generations of leaders and educators in special education. Furthermore, Ashley is looking forward to learning from professionals in various disciplines and the experiences the program has to offer.
